Newburyport is a special place for us all. It is the city where my wife and I raised our two children and the place where I have been actively involved in community-based organizations and charities for three decades.

I have become increasingly concerned about the direction the current Mayor is taking Newburyport. Since taking office, spending has increased an unprecedented and unsustainable 20% and a disintegrating work culture at City Hall has seen the departure of 6 department heads. It’s time to open a new chapter in Newburyport history in which we move forward together — moving beyond the chaos emanating from the corner office and bringing back respect and openness.

My campaign is built on the belief that a cohesive community is one that can achieve remarkable things. By encouraging dialogue and collaboration, we aim to ensure Newburyport continues to be a community where our residents can thrive economically, culturally, socially and live affordably for generations to come.

As Mayor, I will leverage my experience in City government and the skills I’ve developed over 40 years of business success to create long-lasting local successes.
